Ever look up at the night sky and wonder whatâs out there? Discover the science of our galaxy and beyond at Arizona Science Centerâs Astronomy Weekend from Friday, November 1 to Sunday, November 3!
On Saturday, November 2 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m., join Arizona Science Center for a FREE evening of stargazing in Heritage Square. Investigate how scientists learn about space by looking through different types of telescopes, talking with astronomy experts and engaging with STEAM activities.
STEM Explorers

Curious about making science, technology, engineering or math your future career? Girls in STEM will have the chance to explore what it takes to be a geologist, space explorer and more through hands-on activities, like-minded peer connections and STEM Mentor engagement. Play a life-size board game that allows participants to explore different STEM careers, discover the science behind rocks and learn about future space careers in communication, infrastructure and biology!

Renewable energy is our primary power source, space-based solar power provides solar energy 24 hours a day, everything is recycled, and you travel in individualized pods that run on little or no energy. This isnât science fiction. Engineers are making plans for a sustainable world right now, and itâs coming to the giant screen!

Dinosaurs of Antarctica tells the story of a changing environment at the bottom of the world where dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures once roamed freely in a lush landscape. As the climate changes again today, melting Antarctic ice is allowing discovery of the continentâs historyâincluding the fossils of new dinosaurs!

Join Arizona Science Center for live, daily demonstrations that inspire, educate and engage curious minds! Each 15-minute show is available every hour starting at 10:20 a.m. and is included with your Arizona Science Center Membership or general admissionÂ
