Empowering Tomorrowâs Leaders
The Teen Advisory Board works closely with Arizona Science Center leadership and local community organizations to develop, test and implement forward-thinking, future-focused content, programs and exhibits. Thanks to this group of young scientists, we can evolve our programming to engage this generation of studentsâand those to come. Â
For teens, participation in the Teen Advisory Board offers opportunities for honing critical thinking skills, fostering collaboration, learning about STEM, interacting with hands-on activities, developing personal growth and connecting with professionals in STEM fields.
Â
Since 2017, the Teen Advisory Board has created deeper engagement with STEM learning opportunities for more than 4,283 Arizona teenagers.
The Teen Advisory Board is a yearlong commitment beginning in July. Board meetings occur on the 2nd or 3rd Saturday of the month, with sub-committee meetings taking place as needed. Teens between the ages of 15-17 are eligible to join.
