Immersive Experiences Take Center Stage at the Dorrance DOME

Dorrance DOME transforms into a vibrant playground of music, art, mindfulness and storytelling this spring

 

PHOENIX - This spring, step into a world where music, art, and imagination come alive in Arizona Science Center’s Dorrance DOME. Guests will be able to enjoy fan-favorites like Art 360: KPOP Demon Hunters, as well as all-new, breathtaking experiences like Mindful Moments: Sounds of the Ocean, an award-winning fusion of live music, ocean soundscapes, and immersive underwater visuals for all ages.

Guests can unwind with Sip n’ Paint, yoga with Sharon Ducati, or sound healing with Sierra Jiwani, then extend the evening with exclusive after-hours access to POMPEII: THE EXHIBITION, where history unfolds beneath the night sky.

Dorrance DOME’s epic daytime shows—Orbital, Worlds Beyond Earth, Little Eve: Stories of Planet Earth, SuperVolcanoes, The Psychedelic Mixtape: The Visionary Experience, Moonbase: The Next Step, and Cosmic Treasure Chest: Unveiling the Universe with Rubin Observatory—will also be featured throughout this spring’s after-hours schedule, creating unforgettable experiences for visitors of all ages.

Mindful Moments: Sounds of the Ocean

Dive into the deep blue sea with Sounds of the Ocean—a breathtaking fusion of nature sounds, live music, and immersive visual art. This award-winning experience invites audiences of all ages to connect with marine life and find calm in a world of noise.

Mindful Moments: Sound Healing in the Dorrance DOME

Cost: $55 per Person | Members $45

Settle into the Dorrance DOME for a sound healing experience that blends deep vibration, guided meditation, and breathtaking projections above. As the instruments resonate through the space, the visuals wrap around you, creating a one-of-a-kind journey that calms the mind, settles the nervous system, and leaves you feeling renewed. This is a 1-hour experience led by Sierra Jiwani of Mindful Resonance.

Flow into a yoga experience like no other within the Dorrance DOME. Surrounded by breathtaking immersive visuals and sound, this class blends movement, breath, and atmosphere to ground your body and expand your mind. Designed for all levels, it’s a practice that invites you to reset, connect, and discover a new sense of balance in an unforgettable setting. Each session is led by Sharon Ducati from Sharon Rose Yoga.

Art 360: KPOP Demon Hunters

Step into a world where K-pop power meets epic fantasy! The Dorrance DOME erupts with pulsating beats, jaw-dropping visuals, and anime-inspired projections—transforming every corner of the 8K LED dome into an electrifying stage.

This is not a screening of the film, but a spectacular immersive experience where songs from the movie are synced to stunning creative visuals. Feel the energy of each track as it’s reimagined through breathtaking animation, dynamic light, and larger-than-life storytelling.

Experience a high-octane fusion of music, mythology, and spectacle—where every song hits harder, every story feels legendary, and the adventure unfolds all around you.

Art 360: Sip n’ Paint…Crafty Kaleidoscopes

Cost: $45 Per Person | Member $40 —Drink Ticket and Supplies Included

Unwind under the wraparound glow of the Dorrance DOME, where swirling, larger-than-life kaleidoscopes spark your creativity. With a drink in hand, learn about the intricate workings of light before putting your creativity to use in this sip n’ paint session.

Admission includes painting supplies and one complimentary drink ticket.

Enjoy special after-hours access to POMPEII: THE EXHIBITION. Enjoy a rare opportunity to experience the wonder and drama of ancient Pompeii in a relaxed, atmospheric nighttime setting. History awaits. Open 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on select dates.
